New York City, NY — NCGNYC play in the competitive New York Corporate Soccer League, renown for being NY’s most upscale league for professionals. Company sports teams are great for business moral as it gives individuals a chance to build new friendships, gain a sense of belonging and just be involved in something that is fun outside of work. Throughout the fall season, NCGNYC played against several large corporations such as; Google, Gibson, Rabobank and RHI.
NCGNYC have participated in the league leagues for the past 4 years and feel it has assisted with building positive attitudes in the workplace. ‘We had a slow start to the season; our record was 3-3-2 (win-lose-tie). Despite the slow start, we came back strong and knocked out our opponent in the semi-final to enter the final against the top team Google whose record was 7-1-0’ says Bart Yates, CEO at Northstar Consulting Group.

The final score for the championship game was 5-4. ‘Our team, Northstar United FC played terrifically. We are very happy to have won a second championship. Trophies are cool, but winning is cooler’.
NCGNYC’s Anis MaKaren, who is also a top fundraising representative at the firm, was named MVP of the season. Bart Yates comments ‘It was great to see Anis get recognition, he is a valued asset in the business and has really let his competitive nature show throughout the Fall season. We commend him on his MVP award.

NCGNYC has been to the championship game three times in the past five years with two wins and one loss. Their goal is to participate in the Winter League and get back to Madison Square Garden where they won the New York City Championship two years ago. The Winter season begins in January 2013.

As a result of the uncertain corporate job market, entrepreneurship is flourishing among recent MBA graduates. Among the issues facing these new business start-up’s are the limited support networks supplying business education and ‘entrepreneurial loneliness’. NCGNYC in New York have planned a debate which aims to draw attention to issues small business owners face in their first few years in business.

The debate is hosted by Bart Yates, Entrepreneur and CEO at NCGNYC. Among the prompts for those involved in the debate are – Do government bodies offer enough support for Start-Up’s in America? Are Isolation and Loneliness contributing factors to lack of growth? And is Business Development in the forefront of the entrepreneur’s mind?

NCGNYC’s CEO Bart Yates said ‘There needs to be a focus on the steps required to implement changes and growth within business environments. We hope to see this debate open up communication on several issues that falter first time business owners and for it to spark a change in success rates for their start-up company’s.’

The panel gathers recent graduates, small business owners, self-employed individuals and Entrepreneurs to share their views and experience and to discuss central challenges in achieving business growth and development in the US economic climate. Scheduled to last 90 minutes, the discussion will be followed by a networking dinner at the local Michelin star restaurant, Marc Forgione, located in Manhattan’s TriBeCa neighborhood.

‘We are looking forward to this debate. I am sure there will be some interesting elements that will bring new insight to business owners who are facing problems with growing their businesses’ adds Bart Yates of NCGNYC.
NCGNYC hopes the debate will inspire similar conversations across the whole country. The debate will be moderated so that contributors have an opportunity to air their opinion.

NCGNYC predicts upcoming marketing trends for 2013. The list outlines a combination of how established trends will develop and new technology will transform the way brands market their products

NCGNYC has released their top 4 Marketing Trends to watch in 2013. The firm have been outsourced for nearly 6 years by brands in the Fundraising, Technology, and Energy industries to enhance marketing ROI for many of America’s leading brand names. This annual list is created to assist start-up company’s mentored by NCGNYC’s CEO Bart Yates plan for the next year in business.

NCGNYC Top 4 Marketing Trends in 2013:
Technology – ‘All forms of marketing a due to be affected by new technology’ claims Bart Yates, CEO at NCGNYC. Tablets are chipping away market share from desktops and laptops, with an estimated 90 million consumers in the US to own one by 2014. Marketing via online applications is a growing trend as is capturing consumer information. NCGNYC has begun reporting sales figures on demand via iPad’s which have enabled clients to view ROI of in-person marketing campaigns daily.

Measurable Results – With the rise of multichannel marketing, comes an increased demand for measurable results. ‘What CEOs expect to see are measurable and quantifiable results’ says Bart Yates of NCGNYC. The firm report more brands are incorporating direct marketing into their strategies as calculating the return of investment is very simple, an element many traditional marketers are unable to offer. As many companies use multiple marketing channels understanding which produce the best results is becoming mandatory.

Personalized Marketing – A trend that NCGNYC have seen rise throughout 2012 and anticipate becoming even more paramount in 2013. Social media plays an important role in this trend as do more direct forms of marketing, face-to-face presentations, event promotions and guerrilla marketing. The ability to tailor marketing towards specific demographics is a strategy in high demand.

Content Marketing- As brands embrace in-person marketing campaigns and expand social media, the potential to engage in meaningful conversations with their loyal fan base becomes more important as consumers demand substance. ‘Discount codes, free samples, in-person demonstrations – knowing your product and evolving the sales pitch to the individual customer will become the norm’ adds Bart Yates of NCGNYC.

It is imperative for savvy marketers to augment their strategy to include as many of these predicted marketing trends in 2013. NCGNYC say effective planning to include these up-and-coming trends will enable new and existing businesses to scale their marketing in an efficient manner.

NCGNYC report outsourcing locally allows businesses to grow in current economy while keeping jobs in USA. The New York based firm provides an outsourced sales and marketing service for American brands.

NCGNYC’s client base has grown by 25% in the last year, partly due to their expansion in Silver Spring, MD and Chicago, IL, but more importantly due to the increasing demand from a variety of organizations to hire specialized outsourced firms to provide services such as sales, marketing and fundraising. Outsourcing operations to other American businesses who are experts in their field allows a brand to get the best possible results while keeping overhead low and ensuring work opportunities remain in the US.

Bart Yates, Managing Director for NCGNYC has stated that, “businesses are trying to survive in the US economy. Our outsourced services are extremely cost effective – in many cases considerably cheaper than the average business maintaining an internal sales force. Outsourcing their sales, marketing or fundraising allows many of our clients to concentrate on their core business operations while leaving the time consuming work of customer / donor acquisitions and marketing to us.”

Outsourcing has become a tremendous value to the business world. Hugh Greenhalgh who contributes to Businessblogs.com discusses the advantages of outsourcing strengthening a business. Greenhalgh acquired a professional opinion from Lief Schneider, managing partner at Schneider Bartosch Communications on how to select a good outsourcing company. Schneider states that, “You don’t need to be an expert in everything – in fact no one can be, or should claim to be – but you do need to have access to the best experts and you do need to know how to manage them. We effectively outsource any work that is not senior managerial activity.”

Greenhalgh adds “the mark of any good manager is the ability to effectively delegate work, whether it’s to the person in the cubicle next door or to a firm halfway around the world.” if you want your start-up to operate like the big guys, outsource the small stuff to give yourself the time and brainpower for the larger issues, and your bank statements will confirm the wisdom of your choice.”

NCGNYC’s outsourced service has led to increased profits and added greater value to their brand within the business world. The firm is due to release further expansion plans in the first quarter of 2013.

New York based firm, NCGNYC have confirmed that there has been a change in consumers buying decisions over the last two years.

Outsourced marketing firm, NCGNYC has reported a change in consumers buying decisions. The firm point out that Pricing is still a priority for many but there is a growing trend whereby consumers are paying attention to brand ethical values.

CEO at NCGNYC, Bart Yates has revealed that, “A brand’s ethics are now becoming influential when it comes to making a purchase decision. Customers care how environmentally friendly a product is. They consider whether or not the brands they purchase are producing their product through fair trading standards. The reality is that people like to help, so it makes good business sense for brands to incorporate their ethical values into their marketing campaigns.”

A brand’s ethical values are being taken into consideration, partly regarding a potential consumer’s decision to buy. Marketing Magazine contributor Gemma Charles reported last year that consumers are increasingly taking it into account brand ethical records when it comes to making their purchasing decision. Charles reports that of a poll of 1,000 people, 91% said the way a company behaved towards its customers and communities was influential when making a purchase, while 74% wanted to know more about the behavior of a company before buying.

Six out of ten people stated that the awareness of a company’s ethics affected their decision making, and 53% said that knowing a company that donates a percentage of its profits to charity and good causes was influential when considering a purchase. More under 30s ranked “ethical brand values” as a priority when spending on the high street.

Social responsibility was also a higher priority for women rather than men.
The research commissioned by agency ‘23rd’ was to coincide with the launch of its Great Good offering, which is aimed at educating brands and businesses on how best to align their commercial interests with their core values. Jane Asscher, 23red managing partner and founder, said that, “the real challenge for brands is how best to harness the values at the heart of their business as marketing tools, without appearing cynical. This isn’t about sound bites and tokenistic gestures – it’s a paradigm shift.”

Many companies have had success due to their ‘ethics’ being taken into consideration by the consumer when making a purchase e.g. Marks and Spencers and their recent ‘schwopping’ scheme; Britvic soft drinks are sourced ethically and are environmentally friendly; and Unilever, who abide by a strict code of ethics. Each of these organizations has received positive press coverage on their ethical records.

By upholding and enforcing clients brand ethics, NCGNYC shall not only achieve further in the business world, but enrich their brand reputation even more with consumers.

NCGNYC released details of their Disaster Recovery Plan to employees and suppliers following Hurricane Sandy’s attack on New York City.

New York based company, NCGNYC have announced the release of their business strategy to assist the firm recover from the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy.

The outsourcing sales and marketing firm are just one of thousands of businesses that were forced to close their doors due to the hurricane and have stated that they have a strategy to ensure the business recovers efficiently. NCGNYC’s plan includes reviewing and prioritising job roles, reporting damage, secondary or offsite office space, data backups and insurance arrangements.

Bart Yates, CEO for NCGNYC, has stated that, “we are glad to announce that our office on Wall St, New York City has not suffered significant damage. Our operations will resume as soon as possible. Our Disaster Recovery plan was implemented to ensure that if any significant damage had taken place we would be able to implement our recovery process effectively and efficiently.”

The damage caused by Hurricane Sandy has been difficult to restrain and measure. The storm has not been merciful to the Big Apple; resulting in an estimated $45 billion loss ($12 billion consists of consumer and business loss); more than 13,000 airline flights have been cancelled. and has been the most destructive to the NY subway in its 108 year history.
James Grierson of the Belfast Telegraph reported that the storm forced Wall Street to shut down for the first time since the shocking event of 9/11 and that the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq Stock Market would not open to protect workers from traveling and working in affected areas.

A statement from NYSE Euronext, which operates the New York Stock Exchange, said: “We support the consensus of the markets and the regulatory community that the dangerous conditions developing as a result of Hurricane Sandy will make it extremely difficult to ensure the safety of our people and communities, and safety must be our first priority. We will work with the industry to determine the next steps in restoring trading as soon as the situation permits.” Peter Morici, former chief economist with the U.S. International Trade Commission has also stated that “there will not likely be permanent economic losses, and there could be a net gain in U.S. GDP two years from now due to a boost in employment and activity for rebuilding efforts.” Morici adds further that the $12 billion in estimated consumer and business spending losses are actually delayed or displaced, depending on how essential many of the items are. “People are going to buy clothing anyway,” he adds.

NCGNYC have followed best business practices by quickly implementing their Disaster Recovery Plan early, any losses will likely be rapidly restored.

New York based firm, NCGNYC report astonishing growth as the United States emerge from the recession. NCGNYC are outsourced by American brands to increase customer acquisition

New York City, New York (PRWEB) September 26, 2012
Since appearing on Wall Street in 2008, the outsourced sales and marketing; NCGNYC has grown more than a third in size.

NCGNYC CEO, Bart Yates has stated that “our ability to evolve with economic change has contributed to our growth. Being a medium size enterprise means we are still in touch with our customers’ needs, are large enough to reposition ourselves in the market yet small enough to be able to do so efficiently. Many larger corporation have suffered due to polices that restrict their ability to make changes.”

NCGNYC currently uphold values of professionalism; integrity; leadership and adventure and prefer the customer acquisitions favorite, the ‘face to face’ approach when dealing with clients.

Mid-size firms in America are widely credited for the contribution to the economy, and are far more important than most people realize. Small – Medium size businesses make up more than 99.7% of all employers; employ about 50% of all private sector workers and make up 97% of exporters and produce 29% of all export values. 75% net new jobs were also created in the US by these businesses.

A 2012 Deloitte report has presented the following findings; companies are increasing their emphasis on investing in current employees through training and executives are planning to grow their companies through innovations, capturing higher value customers, boosting revenue per customer and improving customer loyalty. Business and professional services similar to NCGNYC, are also more likely to look for growth outside the United States and Canada. 21% admit to aggressively adding employees.
Business majors average salaries have also climbed to $51, 541; an increase of 2.2% from 2011.

The introduction of the JOBS act (Jumpstart Our Business Startups) in April 2012 by President Obama and Congress is also beneficial to mid size firms, as the act supports entrepreneurship and small business growth and is designed to encourage these businesses and start up funding, by easing the federal regulations and allowing individuals to become investors. The secret to the JOBS act is ‘crowd funding’ which is a major catalyst in shifting the way small businesses operate and source capital from community support.

New York City was hit extremely hard in the early stages of the recession, however NCGNYC has managed to maintain steady growth which is an astonishing accomplishment for an American Mid-size business.

“Deloitte”, a brand under which thousands of professionals in independent firms around the globe collaborate to provide auditing, tax and risk management services, release a report “Culture in the Workplace,”. NCGNYC concur there is a correlation between employees who say their organization has a clearly articulated and lived culture and those that say they are “happy at work” and feel “valued by [their] company”.

NCGNYC is outsourced by Fortune 500 brands to develop direct marketing strategies and increase customer acquisition on a face-to-face level. ‘Our company culture has been of huge importance to us’ claims Bart Yates, CEO of NCGNYC, based in New York City. ‘We decided to conduct our own research into how ‘culture’ can influence performance and productivity and reading this recent report from Deloitte has sparked further questions. There are some significant differences between employee and executive views on this topic and although our research is in the early stages, I would confidently suggest that more aligned vision would contribute to higher productivity and business success’.

NCGNYC incorporate incentives such as travel opportunities, commissions and team building activities into their business model and feel the friendly competition internally creates a fun company culture. ‘Feeling valued and having a sense of belonging is a factor that contributes to a ‘good company culture’. Sharing our companies visions and goals allows everyone to know what we as a company are working towards and means each individual has a sense of pride when we achieve those goals’ adds Bart Yates, CEO at NCGNYC.

The Deloitte report further reveals when considering which factors substantially contribute to a company’s success, a significantly higher percentage of executives identified “a clearly defined business strategy” (76%) rather than “clearly defined and communicated core values and beliefs” (62%).

NCGNYC plan to conduct further research in to how company culture contributes to the success, productivity and performance of a business. The firm are 4 weeks into the study which is scheduled to take place over 12 weeks. Results will be reported by NCGNYC in the 4th quarter of 2012.

Executive partners at NCGNYC presented at the New Orleans Outsourced Sales Conference which was held at the Renaissance Arts Hotel in the downtown area. Presentations outlined case studies of improved ROI for brands who currently outsource to increase customer acquisitions and sales. NCGNYC has reported growth year on year since first opening in 2007 and has expanded their portfolio of clients by 40% in the last 12 months. Their case study analysis aimed to build awareness of the NCGNYC brand in the state of Illinois ahead of their expansion to Chicago.

The New Orleans Outsourced Sales Conference was used as an opportunity to network with investors who are assisting with the expansion of NCGNYC’s sales and marketing branch to downtown Chicago claimed Bart Yates, CEO of NCGNYC.

In addition to their New York headquarters, NCGNYC expanded their reach to Washington DC earlier this year and has progressive plans to move into the Midwest marketplace. When the official announcement of their Chicago expansion was made this weekend, NCGNYCs CEO said “we are very excited to take on another challenge; to have business opportunities such as this at a time when the economy is recovering is phenomenal.

NCGNYCs CEO, Bart Yates traveled to New Orleans to attend the final day of the Sales Conference. Bart Yates was a surprise guest speaker at the event. He outlined his experience and progress in the outsourced sales and marketing industry. This conference has been great and a perfect opportunity for our team to network with industry leaders. Having the opportunity to announce the Chicago, IL expansion was exciting as it will be NCGs first opportunity to truly expand beyond the East Coast and Canada said Bart Yates.

NCGNYC state business relationships are built through effective means of communication. With 90% of US companies providing some form of communications training NCGNYC ask for a quality benchmark to be introduced to increase efficiency and performance.

Subscribers to the Harvard Business Review rated “the ability to communicate” the most important factor in making an executive “promotable,” more important than ambition, education, and capacity for hard work. NCGNYC advises ‘Indicators and benchmarks are needed to monitor the performance of communication training. We believe interacting with clients and customers could lead to higher ROI with the use of effective communication skills. These include positive body language, excellent listening skills, and the ability to make others feel comfortable around them. It is imperative that when communicating with people to fully capture their attention, this could be achieved through effective communication training.’

One study, published in Business Outlook, based on responses from over 1000 employers at Fortune 1000 companies found that workers send and receive an average of 1798 messages each day via telephone, email, faxes, papers, and face-to-face communications. Some experts have estimated that the average business executive spends 75 to 80 percent of the time communicating, about 45 minutes of every hour.

Not every customer that a business engages with will develop into a loyal long-term customer; however NCGNYC’s research suggests 76% of consumers will remember the level of customer service received. The research further exposed sentiment felt by consumers range from, informed, aware, accomplished, irritable, or confused. NCGNYC defines communication an essential key to success as it has the ability to have a positive or negative impact on a business.

NCGNYC outline not only are communications skills important with a client or customer, but also within the office. In order for a business to run smoothly and be successful it is vital that members of the team are on the same page. At NCGNYC various responsibilities, including those around the office, are assigned weekly so that there is no disorder, and expectations for the office are communicated to all members of the team. These goals are created to be accomplished, leading to success for the whole company.

If a quality standard was to be introduced as an industry standard, NCGNYC firmly believes efficiency in the workplace and performance levels would be enhanced significantly, eventuating in increased profit margins.
